Drip Drop Play is an immersive, sensory and interactive experience for children aged 5-12. This vivacious and engaging show uses ice and water to create sound and involves children improvising, listening and performing.

Participants will meet Thea Rossen and Jared Yapp as the water diviners who uncover creativity in the elemental and every day for youngsters curious about making music through play.  Later in the day, children will see and hear Tan Dun perform Underwater Concerto in the Sound Shell.

This special Mini Pass package for children and their accompanying adults gives you the chance to dip your toes into the magical waters of music at Four Winds.

While the children are creating with the artists in the Windsong Pavilion, their accompanying adults can relax in the Sound Shell, taking in some of Australia’s finest music – including the well-known and the new. This Workshop and Mini Pass is a great taster for first-time festival goers or anyone who wants to give their children a fun day out.

The workshop and Sound Shell performances wrap around lunchtime. Our food vendors will have plenty of family-friendly food — plus the essential coffee fix for you while the kids are in the workshop.
